January 2000 Harmonica Mini- Masterclass Workshop

The Harmonica Mini-Masterclass Workshop is a weekend spent with two well-know authors of the harmonica.  This year it was founder David Barrett and author Glenn Weiser. Thirty-five participants were in attendance.  Detailed below are some pictures from this event. 

David (R) and Glenn (L) speak about embouchure and mouth positioning for different techniques on the harmonica.

Participants have many chances to try out the new ideas spoken about in the classes.  This class was on the blues scale.  David is pictured pointing to and playing notes of the blues scale as Glenn plays guitar.

One of Glenn's workshops showed the rhythmic patterns used by Little Walter, this was a very enlightening workshop.

Saturday night everyone got a chance to jam with David's new Blues Harmonica Jam Tracks CD and Glenn on guitar.
