"I am a School Superintendent in the state of Colorado. I have been providing harmonica instruction for high school students over the past two years. This effort grew out of Jazz Band students requesting more music theory and my own interest in working as a teacher with students (rather than an administrator). The harmonica seemed to be a great tool for this and an instrument that I had enjoyed playing frequently some ten years ago. I thought this would be a great opportunity to dig out my old harps, blow off the rust, and start jamming again. I consider myself to be an intermediate player and really looked forward to learning right along with the students.

Last spring I purchased the Masterclass series books titled: Basic Blues Harmonica Method and Blues Harmonica Jam Tracks and Soloing Concepts. This fall I purchased the book from series two titled: Classic Chicago Blues Harp and the instructional videos: Building Harmonica Technique Volume One and Two. After using all your materials over the past several months, I am happy to say I am very impressed. The students really gained in their harmonica and music theory skills. The key to the quality of your instructional materials is in the scope and sequence that the concepts are presented. The concepts spiral or repeat throughout the materials in a logical, learner friendly method. The students are brought along at a comfortable, yet challenging pace. New skills are introduced in a deliberate and educationally sound process. This has provided maximum learning with high motivation. The CD's provide great guidance. It has been very beneficial to jump ahead in the CD's and listen to what future lessons will be covering. This has been motivational and has encouraged intense practice.

My students and I look forward to obtaining the rest of the Masterclass Series. We know you are providing materials that are much different then anything else on the market today. We know this because we have purchased all kinds of instructional materials. Your series is simply outstanding! Thank you for taking the time to put it all together. Your effort is really making an impact in a variety of ways. It is helping kids learn. It is providing intense blues instruction. It is providing music theory with immediate application.

Once again, thank you. Also, I received the excerpt from the Exploring Series (pages 9 -17) and it blew me away! The verse forms content is so practical and provides more depth for learning. You have put it together is a sensible and easy to understand format! I am really looking forward to purchasing the entire series. I hope it is available soon!
