Description: Context is very important in the studying of blues harmonica.  Included on this CD are jam tracks for you to place your new licks and ideas to.  There are nine jam tracks that use harmonica friendly keys and a wide variety of tempos and grooves to fit whatever your mood.  The songs on this CD differ from CD #1 (Blues Harmonica Jam Tracks & Soloing Concepts #2 MB99105BCD) in that it has three very fast songs, one very slow song, one minor song, and other grooves that were not presented in CD #1.  The band chosen for this recording was hand picked by David Barrett from the best musicians in California, a major hot bed of blues artists that know how to back up harp!  Each song's form is detailed in the book.

The instruction portion of this book and CD set teaches phrasing outside 12 bar blues.  At the end of this book/CD set you will understand the principles behind how to solo more than 36 measures and construct a complete instrumental for the harmonica.  The ideas taught in this book will help you get over the problem of playing the same licks over and over.  This is an amazing book for the intermediate to advanced player wanting to improve their soloing ability.
