WORK WITH YOUR PREAMP TUBES
:
The combination of preamp tubes in your amp is directly related to the amount of gain (or feedback), the amp generates, as well as both the clean and maximum wattage it can produce. The "amplification factor"--reflective of the amount of gain produced (the primary source of feedback problems)--of the four most common preamp tubes is as follows: 12AX/100, 12AT or AZ/70, 12AY or 12AV/40, 12AU/17. A simplified way to think about this is if you combined a 12AX and a 12AT the amplification factor would be 170, great for guitarists but a screaming feedback problem for some harp players. So to minimize gain, use lower values in tandem. Test the volume and tone with each, and find the one you like best. Check with your amp tech for more information.

MICROPHONES:
Please note--Microphones may be exchanged, but only within five days after receipt. All harp mics are ready for the road. All prices are exclusive of shipping. CONNECTORS ARE NOT SUPPLIED WITH MICS. Orders for Customized (MOD) Mics, Chrome Mics or NEW IN BOX Mics Are On A "FINAL SALE" Basis Only. Allow 6-10 weeks for delivery of Custom Mics.
